If you are need of an access or culvert permit off of one of our roads, please contact the office to schedule an appointment at 208-278-3041. The Clerk will try to accommodate you and schedule the appointment around your schedule during our normal business hours; in most cases the appointment can be scheduled the same day you contact us. You will be required to meet the person doing the permit at the job site at which time the permit will be done, any questions can be answered and you will be on your way, please note the cost will be $50.00. These are the roads that we will be chip sealing beginning July 10, 2023:
SE 3rd from Hwy 30 to Cassia
SE 4th from Cassia to end of the road
SW 2nd from Adams Rd to Akron
SW 1st from Adams Rd to Denver
Richie Rd from NW 16th to City limits
Whitley Rd from Y to City limits
The District will be out working on culverts and road maintenance so watch for our equipment and road work signs.

Highway District No. 1 is requesting residents whom would like to be on the “no spray zone list” contact the Highway District immediately to apply for a no spray status as we hope to begin spraying in April. The Highway District is obligated to apply herbicides on Highway District rights of way; we offer the no spray zones as a courtesy to Highway District No. 1 residents which need to be renewed annually. To obtain a no spray zone request please pick up the request form at 3890 NW 1st Avenue, New Plymouth Idaho; if you have any questions please feel free to call our office at 208-278-3041.
